Join Restored Hope Zambia’s Board

Restored Hope Zambia (RHZ) is currently recruiting Board members and a Board Chair to join our current board. The organisation is in a period of transition as we seek to build on our existing work and grow our impact. We are looking for individuals who are aligned with our values and goals, ready to grow with us and help us realise our objectives. We welcome applications from first-time board members as well as those who have served on boards before.

Restored Hope Zambia Background

We are a registered Christian non-governmental organisation which supports those who have been abused in churches in Zambia, and seeks to prevent further abuse. Running since 2021, our vision is to restore hope to church abuse survivors and foster a church environment where vulnerable populations, particularly women and children, can flourish. RHZ deals with all forms of abuse, but primarily sexual abuse and spiritual abuse.

To date, RHZ has been providing trauma-informed counselling, limited community-based preventative work and some training for student pastors. Following on from the baseline research and project planning phase of the last 2 years, we are now looking to grow and build on this work in order to sustainably run as an organisation.

The work of RHZ is supported by Restored Hope Zambia UK, a Scottish registered charity which helps raise financial and prayer support. You can find a summary of what we do and the background of our work from our organisation profile and baseline research HERE.
